Police in Florida have arrested a woman who had shot and wounded two friends who would not leave her home.
Alana Annette Savell, 32, was in her home when a man and a woman arrived at 1am and asked to come in for a drink.
Detectives from Bay County Sheriff’s office in Panama City, Florida believe the pair entered the home but were then asked to leave due to their behaviour.
Savell complained the pair were making too much noise and ordered them to leave the house.
When the couple failed to comply, Savell is accused of opening fire with a .22 caliber handgun.
According to Bay County Sheriff’s Office, Savell has been charged with Aggravated Battery with a Firearm.
A spokesman for the office said: ‘The victim stated she felt herself get hit in the legs and ran away from the home and got into a vehicle.
‘Contact was made with the suspect, identified as Alana Annette Savell, age 32. Savell stated that the victim and her friend had come to her home to hang out and began drinking and getting too loud.
‘Savell stated she did not want them in her house and began to shoot at their feet. The suspect’s boyfriend stated to investigators that he has told his girlfriend that once someone is told to leave their property three times, she is to go get the gun and shoot it at the ground.
‘If that does not work, she is to shoot people in the leg.’
Officers confirmed Savell’s boyfriend was also wounded in the incident.
