‘Not ridiculously, but enough that I wondered where that trait came from.’
She mentioned the trait to her ex-husband, who revealed for the first time that he had his ears ‘pinned back’ via cosmetic surgery.
‘This was my first time hearing about this… talk about false advertising,’ she said.
Others said their children inherited their father’s hook nose, excess body hair or poor vision.
‘My dad is a hairy dude. Consequently my sister’s are hairy girls,’ one man wrote.
‘Both my children have inherited their fathers inability to act like a decent human being in the morning,’ one woman wrote (stock image)
‘It take a lot of work for them to deal with all that hair.’
But it’s not just physical traits that had people feeling regretful.
‘Both my children have inherited their fathers inability to act like a decent human being in the morning,’ one woman wrote.
Others said their children were born stubborn.
‘My daughter inherited my husband’s insistence in figuring things out on his own,’ another wrote.
‘It’s already difficult enough trying to teach a toddler anything, but when they actively fight your instruction and then throw a tantrum because it’s not working out it makes things significantly more so.’
Others said their children had anxiety, were prone to lying or became easily distracted.
