A glamorous model making waves in the fashion industry experienced another kind of wave during a photo shoot recently.
Kaitlen Dodd, from Dubbo, New South Wales, had a nasty shock when she was posing in a bikini by the sea.
Sporting a pineapple printed bikini and beach-tousled hair, the young model posed seductively for the camera… until she was promptly soaked by an oncoming wave.

Surprise: Model, Kaitlen Dodd (pictured), was doing a photo shoot by the sea when she had a rather nasty shock
While she tried to move away from the splash, unfortunately Ms Dodd wasn’t able to get away from being entirely drenched.
The clip, shared on National Indigenous Television, explained: ‘The fashion industry is not always as glamorous as it seems’.
Ms Dodd was recently one of the winners of the Aboriginal Model Search contest.
Not as it seems: Posing glamorously beside the water’s edge (pictured) all initially seemed as though it was going well
The photo shoot in which Ms Dodd was soaked took place in a beachside, waterfront location.
Since a video of it was shared on NITV’s Facebook page on Tuesday, it has racked up close to 30,000 views.
The clip has also received nearly 300 likes.
Turn for the worse: However, she then got splashed by an oncoming wave (pictured), getting drenched in the process
‘Funny stuff,’ one person wrote beneath the video in the comments section.
‘As the saying goes, never turn your back on the ocean,’ someone else advised.
While photographers, make-up artists, hair stylists and co-ordinators can work wonders on a shoot, this just goes to show that sometimes you can only do so much.
